Pizzeria Al Faraone: taste and history since 1989



Al Faraone Pizzeria, is located in Poggio Picenze, about 14 km from the city of L'Aquila, situated on State Road 17, just before the entrance to the town.


The Pizzeria was founded in 1989 and is constantly evolving, trying to keep up with the times, experimenting with innovative solutions to offer an increasingly genuine product, offering a perfect blend of old-fashioned flavors, traditional local cuisine and contemporary recipes.

Pizzeria Al Faraone offers its customers only the finest and most authentic pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, made with a long fermentation, 72-hour handmade dough, using Type1, Type2, Multicerals, Hemp, Gluten Free and Whole Grain flours, oil, salt and brewer's yeast.


There are many variations with which we try to please even the most refined palates, devoting ourselves more and more to the needs of consumers, using whole grain and cereal flours thus obtaining an increasingly original dough.

Not Only Pizza

In addition to pizza, you can enjoy grilled Irish Angus meat, smoked scamorza, Chianina burgers and fries.
